Dave would like to invite you to stay at their
lovely Chambre d'Hotes (Bed and Breakfast) located in
the very heart of Poitou Charentes. The region enjoys a
gentle climate and varied countryside and the
accommodation is well located for those wanting to
explore the area. Motorhomes and Caravans are also
welcome for an overnight stay ideal for people going on long
journeys who wish to stop off for the night before
continuing their journey.

The House
has 3 large en-suite bedrooms two double (one can be
made into a family room) and 1 twin each room has
natural stone walls and wooden beams and is fully
carpeted.
Bathrooms have shower, basin & WC. Guest / TV / Dining
Room with UK Sat TV, DVD Player. Cot and High Chair
Available on request.
Facilities And Features
Large
gardens with fruit trees, with a large above ground
swimming pool 9m x 4m and sun lounges, so you can relax
and sunbathe or cool off in the pool.
The
accommodation is located in La Scie
part of the commune of Limalonges. The local area
is mainly flat so ideal for walking or cycling along the
many peaceful country lanes.

The local area is mainly a farming area growing sunflowers, wheat
and maize. The area is also perfect for people who love
wildflowers and wildlife. Limalonges
is 1km away and has a boulangerie, bakery, bar, tabac,
several restuarants and a chateau. Restaurants
and cafe / bars can also be found in Civray,
Sauze Vaussais and Ruffec. Places to visit include La
Valee des Singe, the monkey park where you can walk
amongst the monkeys. Futuroscope the high tech
environment giving visitors a chance to experience
adventures on the land, sea and even into space, using
the latest technologies. Zoodyssee is one of Europe's
largest animal parks set in the forest of Chize, here
you will see more than 600 animals. Maris Poitevin known
as "Little Venice" it is Frances largest collection of
man made waterways, lots to do in the area including
walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, boating and
bird watching

How To Find Us
Situated
just off the RN10, on the D948 in the direction of
Civray. From the RN10, come off at junction D948 Niort,
Sauze Vaussais and Civray, at roundabout follow signs
for Civray and as you leave Les Maisons Blanches turn
next right and the farmhouse is first on the right. Situated
in a small hamlet called La Scie (100m from D948) which
is part of the commune of Limalonges. The RN10
goes from the North of France down to Bordeaux in the
South of France, which is an ideal route to go to the
South West of France, Spain and Portugal.
