Do you fancy spending the summer working in the great outdoors on the most beautiful island in the Channel Islands?
If so this could be the job for you,

We are looking for active, fit and outgoing people to assist in the running of the two campsites on Herm. A full clean driving licence is essential as the use of a tractor/quad bike will be required.

Duties include,
Erection & maintenance of our rental tents, including cleaning,
Keeping the shower & toilet blocks clean and in good working order,
Maintenance of the campsite grounds, ride on mower supplied! Collection & movement of camper's equipment & baggage,
Helping the outdoor team with general island cargo,
Dealing with the customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

Retired Police Officer and Soldier. Have experience in General building maintenance, painting & decorating, electrical and plumbing basics, and I am computer literate. Although 65 and retired, I consider myself fit and active, I backpacked from Lands End to John O Groats in 2009 in aid of Help For Heroes. I am after any campsite jobs, from winter site sitting to caretaker, to warden.  I have no experience of campsite work, but have been a camper all my life and understand peoples needs and I can work within a team or on my own, I consider myself a friendly helpful person who is hard working and nothing is to much trouble. I have my own tourer with tow car.
