You're sure to enjoy your stay at Camping Le Paradis, situated in the middle of the beautiful French countryside, in the heart of the Poitou Charentes. Unlike many French campsites Le Paradis remains open all year. However, it is necessary to read the 'IMPORTANT UPDATE' section listed on their website. Whether you are looking to stay in one of the sites static holiday homes or to bring your own tourer (Motorhome, Caravan or Tent) you will find a warm welcome awaits you at Le Paradis. A superb choice for a long stay holiday, short break, as a base for house hunting, just a place to stop over whilst touring or passing through on your way to Spain. Camping Le Paradis is located in a tranquil area, ideal for leisurely walks, bicycle rides or simply spotting the abundant birds and wildlife in the area. If you're looking for more interesting places to visit during your stay you will find Camping Le Paradis is a great base from which to visit La Rochelle on the west coast, Poitiers and Futuroscope, Limoges with its porcelain and airport, Confolens, Cognac and many more places of interest where you can sample the local culture, food and surroundings. For the more active and energetic, the region boasts two massive lakes for fishing, swimming, canoeing and windsurfing. An adventure park with a commando assault course and an excellent golf course are just a short drive from the site.

Accommodation And Amenities

Touring Pitches
There are 24 Touring pitches for your motorhomes caravans or tents at  Le Paradis. Each pitch measuring approximately 150m² with a few pitches even larger. Approximately half the pitches are on grass and half on hard standing. There are 5 fully serviced pitches with hard standing, fresh water tap, electric and English satellite TV hook-up points, waste water and chemical disposal point. All the pitches are hedged, giving a certain amount of privacy and most have fantastic views over unspoilt countryside. A modern sanitation block of individual rooms containing shower, toilet and wash basin (one of which has been adapted to make access easier for wheelchairs and the disabled) is available for your use together with a separate room for washing your dishes etc. A small shop, for essential provisions, and a library is situated at the Office/Reception where you will also find a tourist information section.

Accommodation For Hire
There are currently 5 static holiday homes on site sleeping between 2 and 8 people.  The smaller homes offer comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people whilst the larger Static Holiday Home offers spacious accommodation for up to 8 people.  Each unit is set in it's own small lawned area with space for parking. All the holiday homes are maintained to a high standard and come furnished together with standard equipment such as fridge and cooking facilities. Our smaller units have a covered porch and all units have garden tables and chairs.

Location and How To Get There

By Road
It is approximately 70Km from Limoges to Camping Le Paradis. Taking the N141, in the direction of Limoges to Angoulême, on entering the town of Roumazières-Loubert, turn left at the traffic lights onto the D161.  Follow D161 for approximately 2Km to a T-junction. Turn right onto the D16 and follow the campsite signs. Camping Le Paradis is approximately 1.5Km past the village of Mazières.
