This site is an Adults only site and is ideally located for touring the surrounding areas of Dorset and the New Forest. Entrance to the site is via a private lane that is a little potholed and could be a little uncomfortable. The site occupies an area of 30 acres and has just 80 pitches although a lot of these are taken by seasonal’s. The site is very quite and even has a site of scientific interest on site.

The amenities blocks are spread over  three buildings one female, one male and a unisex block. There provide ample facilities and were kept very clean during our stay if not a little cold though, the only minor point is the lack of dishwashing facilities available. The unisex block provides easy disabled access to the shower and toilet amenities. A washroom is also available with washing machine, tumble drier etc and the key is obtained from the owners before use. The site has a on-site shop providing the basic provisions if needed. The site has on site fishing that is free to residents on production of a valid license, also a free 9 hole pitch and putt course as well as boule are available. Dogs are welcome on the site and there are plenty of secure walks available through the 18 acres of on site wood land which are very attractive and the footpaths well marked. The site is located just off the A31 and is within easy reach of Ringwood and local supermarkets.

We visited this site in 2007. The site is a great central location for visiting the sites of Dorset. The site is located off of the A31 affording good access to the main road network. The site is far enough away from the main road though as not to be effected by road noise. On arrival we was told find a pitch you like and camp there as it was not to busy. The amenities were clean at all times but a little on the cold side. Fishing was ok and the pitch and putt was good fun. The dog walks through the woods was good and gives the dogs a good walk. Within a couple of minutes from site you have a very large supermarket which is handy as the site shop sells the basics. All in all a very nice site run very well.
