*Last Review Of Hexham Race Course* "This site is situated right on the edge of the racecourse. On race-days you can watch the race from the comfort of your caravan. Although it is £17 per night we love this site. The showers and toilets are - although basic - free and large. It rained heavily whilst we were there but after the rain - apart from the grass being wet you would not know it rained. There are no hard standings but they are not needed as the site is so well drained. The nearest pub (The Mill Inn) is a mile and a half away - they do great meals and brew there own beer. (Hexhampshire brewery) We have stayed here twice now and intend to go back. The entrance fee to the racecourse is £14. but if you stay on the campsite it is only £7. Wonderful views all round and a good little town close by.." Reviewed by Ken And Wendy
