Overview
The Old Oaks adult only site sets the standard
for others to follow. The facilities can
only be described as excellent with modern
toilet block and on site shop, with some very
nice home produced goods. The site is dog
friendly and a dog walking area is provided.
Set out over five paddocks, each unique in there
own way the site offers very pleasant
surroundings and fantastic views of the
surrounding areas. Caravans, motorhomes and
tents are all welcome. An award winning site,
located in a tranquil setting, in Somerset,
nestling between the Mendip Hills and
Glastonbury Tor - Open March
to October
Pitches
The site has pitches for caravans, motorhomes
and tents with hard standings
surrounded by a variety of grassed areas, trees
hedges and shrubs.
Pitches have electric hook ups and are generous
in size
Facilities
The toilet blocks are modern and well maintained
and there are also two all in one unisex toilet
/ shower cubicles in addition to those located
in the individual blocks. A bathroom is also
provided for use by guests and the key is
supplied from the site shop. The site provides
well for disabled access with fully equipped
amenity building providing, shower, toilet and
wash basin accessed via the radar key system.
Paths around the shop and amenities area are
either paved or tarmaced affording good
wheelchair access. There are ample washing up
facilities as well as free freezers for ice
blocks. A very well stocked shop supplying your
everyday needs plus a lot of home produced
goods. The site is dog friendly and provides a
large enclosed walk for the dogs.
