"This is a lovely peaceful site. Situated about 200 metres up a dead end narrow lane that ends at the farm there is no traffic to disturb the tranquillity and in fact about the only sound you'll hear apart from the birds is the chiming of the church clock and maybe a tractor or two. The site is quite small, mainly flat and has a single shower/toilet facility both in the same room at the back of the farmhouse. On the site there is a fresh water tap, CDP and a wash down tap. There are no other amenities such as play areas for children. However, the willingness of Richard and Lesley to let you look around the farm and help them at piglet feeding time will bring a smile to any child's face. If you want bars, pool tables and entertainment then this is not the site for you. If you enjoy quiet camping in a lovely countryside setting where you can completely relax then do give this site a try. At present there are no EHU's but I believe there are plans to install some in 2012 which may detract from its charm somewhat but might encourage more visitors and so keep the site open. The nearest pub is about 2 miles away, The Bull at South Kelsey and there is a small village shop selling basic provisions in North Kelsey 4 miles away. Don't bother bringing eggs with you, buy them on site. They are truly free range and taste absolutely gorgeous. You'll see the chickens scratching about all over the place. Your hosts, Richard and Lesley are very friendly and always willing to stop for a chat. I was quite impressed on my arrival when I was greeted by my first name. A nice touch. This site really is too good to miss and I will certainly pay it many return visits."

"We are just back from this' off the beaten track' site. The owner is a gentleman and a very hospitable host into the bargain. There is a flat well drained field for ehu's. Plenty of them. A rally field and log cabins. There is also a gypsy caravan (sleeps 4) if you fancy something different.There is a well laid out dog-walk as the farmer has made a small wood of Fir trees. Toilet and showering facilities (20p) are clean but it may be a bit of a problem if the site is full. 2 of each for men and women. They are in the process of building a new block but it wasn't finished when we were there. There is a washing up bay, fresh water pipes and disposal point. Everywhere, well maintained and clean. There is a little shop that is occasionally open. A small play area for the children and horse-riding by arrangement. You can also take your own horse by arrangement. Well worth the money and highly recommended."  Bellasbus
