The Tent
 

Peakland Bakewell, 3 berth dome tent £25 from Yeomans. Bought this tent for over night stops, gets good reviews on Yeomans website, and Yeomans Peakland range have a reputation for good solid tents. We have not used it in anger, but have put it up to check it. Was a breeze to put up, just 2 poles (spare pole supplied) was a bit surprised how tall it was, we knew the specs. already, but when you see it in the flesh it seemed taller. Room enough for our double airbed and some junk, apex off roof has a mesh vent with a cap on it, also door has a mesh vent. The porch is split in 2 halves, so you can open just 1 halve if weather cognitions demand it. We are happy with the tent, our only gripe is it is dark blue, apart from that we think it is a good buy, you can save money and buy similar cheaper, but we think given the reviews and Peakland reputation it was worth spending a few pounds more.

The tent being a dome tent is easily erected with just 2 poles it's up in no time

The Verdict

This is a great quality low budget tent, easy to erect and just the job for the odd night or two touring
