Verdict
These are excellent for year round
use. With focus down to less than 4m then they will suit
many varying uses. I particularly like the rubber armour
covering which gives maximum protection and grip but
just incase you do have a mishap the padded soft
carry-case will aid protection and if you drop them in
water then the extra wide floatation strap will keep
them buoyant ( binoculars will not sink), clever after
thought to a superb set of binoculars.
Definitely suited for the Dedicated’
outdoor enthusiast.
The Cost
Around £35 (Inc P&P) – well worth it.

Verdict
I was initially impressed with this
product but after a days use in the Lakeland hills
I found the view to be a tad too
'wobbly' to focus directly on an object/area and it was
also affected too much by the damp ie misted up inside
lens.
Confusion abounds with the latter
statement as Barska’s website (and many USA websites)
state that the Monocular is waterproof and has a
‘fold-down’ eyecup.
Well mine wasn’t waterproof and
neither did it have a fold-down eyecup?.
It’s possible my Monocular was faulty
and someone has mislaid the eyecup or maybe it differs
for the UK market, who knows?.
That aside, it’s a handy little
product but I feel it’s more for the ‘Casual’ rather
‘Dedicated’ outdoor enthusiast.

Around £12
