La Motte is a family run site and offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Surrounded by beautiful forests with walks and trecking paths that are only a few minutes away. Situated in the Southern Charente Maritime and located within the Haute Saintonge trails, there are lots of historic sites and places to see and visit. Twenty five shaded pitches, all with electric hookup facilities. Modern toilet block with showers and wash-hand basins. There is also ample washing up sinks for guests that require them. In addition, we have disabled access with full toilet and shower facilities. There are also seperate W.C. facilities.

In the heart of the peaceful Brittany countryside, situated just 5 km away from St Nicolas du Pelem convenient for supermarkets, petrol, bank, and inexpensive local restaurants. Kerveller is a very small village and the campsite is in a secluded and shaded orchard within the grounds of the owners family home and gites. The site offers a quiet and friendly environment. The nearby town of St. Nicolas du Pelem is a 5 minutes drive away. The site accommodates Tents, Caravans and Motorhomes and has the following on site facilities:-Toilets & Showers, Laundry, Water, Chemical Disposal Point, Freezer, Children's Play area, Electric Hook-ups, pets are allowed.  Local Facilities and Attractions off site, include good local restaurants just 5km away at St Nicolas. Good location for those who like cycling, a selection of good quality mountain bikes are available for hire.

The campsite is situated within the grounds of our 400 plus-year old farm house. The grounds are mainly laid to grass, with over 50 mature trees and shrubs offering privacy and shade from the sun. Each of the eight spacious pitches has a 'UK Type' electric hook-up.  The shower block offers plentiful free hot water for all our camping and caravanning guests, and has full disabled facilities, including widened doors for wheelchair access, low mirrors and basins, and a wheelchair friendly shower & toilet. There's plenty of space for the kids to run around and let off some steam, while mum & dad can relax with a glass of the local wine over a long, lazy lunch with provisions from the village, 3km away. There are a  range of outdoor games for the kids including badminton, ping-pong, boules and footballs.
