About the site and the
area
Conveniently located for touring Great Yarmouth and the
Norfolk Broads The Grange Touring Park is just a 5 minute
drive to Great Yarmouth. The small town of Caister with it's
multitude of local shops, lifeboat station and unspoilt
beach is approximately 1 mile from the site. Further up the
coast are the eroding cliffs of Happisburgh and Hunstanton
with the town of Cromer situated in the middle.
The Grange really is a great base for exploring Norfolk.
Facilities
on site
The site has grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook-ups.
Caravans, Tents & Motorhomes are welcome. Amenities include
toilets, showers (with free hot water), a baby changing
room, laundry and washing up facility, chemical disposal
point, a small internet cafe and a children's play area.
Calor and Patio Gas are available on site. Dogs are
permitted but must be kept on leads although there is a good
offsite dog walking field nearby. Separated from the site by
a wooden fence and gate is The Grange Free House, an
eighteenth century building, fully licensed and offering bar
food or carver meals, fine wines, beers and real ale.
It has an outside seating area, away from, but still in
sight of the children's adventure playground.
